Alfred University is committed to providing equitable and efficient services to all students.
The Office of Special Academic Services provides support services, consultation, and advocacy for students with learning, physical, and/or psychological disabilities. Services for persons with disabilities complement and support, but do not duplicate, the University's existing services and programs.
Accepted students receive material from the Admissions Office which includes a Special Academic Services registration form. By completing this form and providing documentation of their disability, students are able to
- Receive appropriate accommodations
- Attend Early Orientation
- Have an academic consultant
- Learn self-advocacy skills
