Overnight Visits

Alfred University - The Brick - Dorm RoomWhat better way to determine if AU is the right "fit" for you than by participating in an overnight visit!

Experience the life of an AU student by staying in a residence hall with a current student. During your visit you'll have the opportunity to participate in an assortment of evening activities, interact with current students, meet with available faculty and coaches, eat in one of our two dining halls, attend a class, go on an assortment of campus tours and meet with an admissions counselor.

All About Overnights

No overnight visits are scheduled during our Spring Break (March 10-17).

  • Your overnight visit must be scheduled at least two weeks prior to your visit

  • Check in is at 4:00 PM in Alumni Hall unless you have made other arrangements with the Office of Admissions. You will also check out in Alumni Hall after your last scheduled activity
  • As a guest of Alfred University, you will be provided with dining hall meal tickets
  • Current AU students will host prospective students in their dorm rooms. Please come prepared with a sleeping bag, pillow, change of clothes, toiletries and spending money
