Sign Up for SUNY NY-Alert

To further improve safety notification and communication, Alfred University is switching from e2Campus to a statewide service called SUNY NY-Alert. SUNY NY-Alert uses multiple communication channels such as text messaging, landline phones, email and fax transmissions to alert campus-community members of emergency situations.

Faculty and staff, who signed-up for e2Campus last year, will need to confirm their personal information to continue receiving campuswide alerts through SUNY NY-Alert.

SUNY NY-Alert is different than the NY-Alert being used by county and state agencies. As a result, if you have signed up for NY-Alert through SEMO (the State Emergency Management Office), you will need to sign-up for SUNY NY-Alert to receive Alfred University emergency communications.

To sign-up or verify your contact information in SUNY NY-Alert, login to http://banweb.alfred.edu
and follow the directions which are attached to this posting. If you don't know your Banner credentials or have additional questions, please contact the ITS helpdesk at helpdesk@alfred.edu or call 871-2222.

Songs about Tadpoles, Tractors, Jumping Kittens and Punk-Rock Skunks

After drawing sell-out crowds from Oshkosh to Oslo with his energetic and interactive children’s concerts, Nashville-based FARMER JASON, the identical twin brother (wink, wink) of Jason Ringenberg of Jason and the Scorchers fame, brings his hootenanny to The Wellsville Creative Arts Center.

He’ll be doing songs from his two albums, A Day At The Farm and Rockin' In The Forest With Farmer Jason. And he’ll be singing about everything kids love - toads, chickens, squirrels, tractors, and opossums to name a few. In between songs, there will be cheerful eco-friendly chats and plenty of audience interaction.
