Attention Owners of U3 Thumb Drives
Most Campus Computers will not read thumb drives identified as "U3" or with "Launchpad" installed. If you wish to use these thumb drives on library and other campus computers you will need to run the "U3 Uninstall program."
A copy of the U3 Uninstall Program can be found on the U:Drive in the "Public/ITS/U3 Uninstall" folder or you can download it from http://www.u3.com/uninsta.... First, make sure that you back up anything you currently have on your thumb drive. Then, simply run the "U3uninstall.exe from the U:Drive OR download and run the "U3uninstall.exe" file from the link, insert your drive, and follow directions.
This should make your drive usable on campus computers. If this does not work, bring your drive to the ITS Helpdesk located in the lower level Herrick Library. They will be happy to help you out.
