Paul and I met on my first night on campus at a dance in the campus center. We didn't start dating until May of my freshman year, Kappa Psi's Spring Weekend. Paul graduated in '66 and I graduated in '68 and we married August 3 of '68. Alfred friends who attended our wedding were: Dave and Mary Alice Patrickson, Don Landsittel, and Gerry and Kathy Garwood.

Our favorite memory is of a Saturday evening. Paul was waiting to come to Kruson Hall to pick me up for a Valentine's frat party. I kept telling him I needed a bit more time to study, but in actuality, I was finishing knitting and sewing together a sweater for him. I finished it and gave it to him and we did get to the party, albeit late. The attached picture was taken on Valentine's Day of 2008; Paul is wearing the sweater I knit for him 42 years ago!
