Letter to the Lambda:

Alfred University Reunion 2013 (June 7-9) promises to be a great weekend. Last year at Reunion, over 30 Lambda Chi Alpha Brothers came together in Alfred to have some fun. We had an old fashioned LCA good time. We want to try for an even bigger Reunion this year!

Let's work together to reach out to as many Brothers as possible!

We know distance may be a deterrent for some of you but we wanted to reach out to ALL Lambda Chi brothers and encourage you to come back to Alfred. On Friday, June 7th we will meet in Alfred for drinks, dinner and fun. Then we'll head back to the location of our beloved house, now the site of Ann's House, in honor of Ann Moskowitz '96 H (spouse of Joel Moskowitz '61, an alumnus and Trustee). Saturday during the day will be filled with Reunion activities - a picnic luncheon, various campus receptions, a "7 Wonders of Alfred" tour, a dinner for the Lambda Brothers and the night will be spent in Ann's house again. Ann's house only has a capacity of 48 beds so make sure you register early!

There will be 2 bench dedications on Saturday, June 8th. One bench will be at the site where the original Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity House stood from 1939-1975. The other bench will be at the more recent site (1975-2002) on Fraternity Row.

Lori Wellman, Director of Alumni Engagement (by email) will be compiling Lambda stories, photos and memorabilia for a Lambda Memory Book that will be handed out at Reunion. Even if you are not able to attend, we would still like your stories and pictures, so collect the Lambda memories and submit them before January 31, 2013.
