Background
Biography
Susan Gorman has been a member of Alfred University's Development Team since 2005.

She has been instrumental in working with the student population on campus as the Associate Director of the Alfred Fund and manages the Student Development Associate(SDA)Program, student fundraisers for the Alfred Fund. These students provide our constituents with real time event, alumni, and student news. They have raised over $3.2 million for the university since 2005 and continue to be a major role in engaging alumni, parents, and others as donor participants to the university.

As Associate Director, Susan has developed and implemented a leadership program for these students to achieve advancement in management, marketing, and as senior development associates.

In 2008, she added Senior Class Advisor to her role and helped to re-establish a Senior Class Program to include the Class Gift, Fundraisers, and Senior Week Events. These components resonate the importance of educating our student body on philanthropy, event/fundraising, and has lead to construction of a senior giving page. This program has captured a new era of student donors and class affiliations. For more information visit: www.alfred.edu/alumni/giving/senior
