Jennifer Enke was appointed head coach of women’s soccer at Alfred University prior to the 2005 season.
She is a 1993 graduate of Canisius College, where she earned a bachelor’s degree with dual majors in physical education and athletic training. While at Canisus, she was a member of the soccer and swimming teams.
Enke served as a graduate assistant coach of the AU women’s soccer team in 1993 and 1994, while earning a master’s degree in education.
She was head coach at Division II Southwest State (MN) University for two seasons (1996 and 1997) and head coach for one year (1998) at Division I Youngstown State (OH) University. She returned to AU in 1999, serving as an assistant in charge of coaching goalkeepers.
Enke has a background in teaching, having served as a professor of wellness and human performance at Southwest State University (1996-98), where she was also an assistant athletic trainer; adjunct professor of athletic training at Alfred University (1999-2001); and adjunct professor of computer information systems at Alfred State College (2000-05), where she was also an athletic trainer from 1999-2000.
She is a member of the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) and New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA). She is certified by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America and is a licensed USSF and NYSPHSAA referee.
