objectives are to provide enhanced services to University constituents;
provide access to timely and accurate data for decision making; and
to move the University forward as a technologically competitive and
efficient institution. |

entire campus community will benefit from Banner with increased services

anticipated completion date for all modules is December, 2005. |

will students be able to register on-line? |
|
Registration
for the Spring 2005 semester will be available in November, 2004. |

will I learn to use Banner? |
|
Training
will be available on campus in a variety of formats. Training
schedules and materials will be posted on this web site. |

Where
will training take place? |
|
A training
facility is being made ready in Howell Hall. Expected completion
date is February 17, 2003. |

Can
I make requests for programming changes in the old system? |
|
The
only non-Banner related programming requests that will be made are
those needed to meet regulatory, functional - you can't do your job
without it, or maintenance requirements. |

Will
I still be able to use the old system once Banner is up and running? |
|
No.
Once the implementation is complete, the old system will no longer
exist. |
