Alfred Century Bicycle Tour- AU Habitat

You’re invited to participate in "the ride of the century,", sponsored by the Genesee Valley and Alfred University Habitat for Humanity chapters!
This 100-mile bicycle tour retraces the original route from 1895, going through Scio, Belmont, Friendship, Cuba, and Olean before returning back to Almond.
The course will be marked and include turn-arounds for 50 and 25 miles. Participants will be given a course map and directions.
This takes place on Saturday, Sept. 29, with registration beginning at 7 a.m. The tour itself begins at 8 a.m. The tour will begin and end at the Almond Municiple Building.
The cost to participate is $20. Proceeds will benefit both Habitat for Humanity groups in their effort to build simple, decent, affordable houses in partnership with those who lack adequate shelter.

Alfred University’s Judson Leadership Center invites you to Afternoon Tea at Hicks & McCarthy
Saturday, September 29th from 3pm - 5pm, join AU Alumna and current Trustee, Ms. Christine Kulp’71 and her husband and Honorary Alumnus, Mr. Bruce Kulp H’00 for afternoon tea at Hicks and McCarthy. You will learn about one incredible aspect of Student Affairs at Alfred University through the eyes of our students; they will share their stories about how the Beth Robinson Judson Leadership Center has enriched their Alfred University experience.
The Judson Leadership Center is the home of the Women’s Leadership Center, the Saxon Sidekicks mentoring program and the Gary Horowitz Leadership Development Certificate program. Julia Overton-Healy, Director of the Leadership Center will also join us to answer your questions.
Afternoon tea, scones, tea sandwiches and assorted homemade pastries will be served at Hicks & McCarthy, 23 South Main Street, Pittsford, NY 14534

Moon Festival Celebration

Come and celebrate one of the most important Chinese traditional festivals at Susan Howell Hall! Program starts at 5:30 p.m., Sept. 29, Saturday.
Tickets will be $3 per person and will be sold in Olin 211 from Sept. 24, Monday till Sept. 28, Friday.

Family Of The Year

AU Volleyball will be away at the SUNY Brockport Tournament on Friday, 9/28 and Saturday, 9/29.
