Walk-in Hours at the CDC

- Location: The Steinheim, Career Development Center
(10:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
Alfred University’s Career Development Center has extended walk-in hours for the 2013-14 academic year -Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

You can drop in with any career-related question and see the next available counselor for 20 to 30 minutes, depending on availability.

Visiting artist and alum Gianna Commito will lecture about her artwork and give a Career Talk. Gianna has exhibited her work at MoCA, Cleveland, Taxter and Spengemann, New York, The Drawing Center, New York, the Weatherspoon Art Museum, Greensboro, and William Busta Gallery, Cleveland, among other venues.

She received her BFA from Alfred University, her MFA from the University of Iowa, and is an assistant professor of painting at Kent State University.

The Robert C Turner Gallery interns are proud to present Play. he show Play investigates associations with the idea and interactive qualities of play. This show will present collaborative, interactive pieces based on classic games and aspects of play throughout history.

As Turner Gallery interns, we are a lively group and are continually collaborating and playing with each other. We would like to share with our viewers our view of play and the collaboration and interaction that go along with it.
