The Newman Club will be going on a service trip to cook a meal at the nearby soup kitchen in Wellsville.

3rd Annual Fall Bazaar

- Location: Elementary Gym of Alfred-Almond Central School

Shop for gift items from local area artisans and small businesses and for only $5 enjoy a delicious variety of soups and pies.

Alfred University alumnus William Rice ’78, and his wife, Debbie, invite you to attend their annual Oktoberfest event. Come and enjoy a casual afternoon of mingling with local Alfred alumni, parents and friends. Food and beverages will be served and those in attendance will have a chance to win Alfred University prizes.

2nd Annual Zombie 5K Run

- Location: Throughout Campus

What’s better motivation to run a campus 5K than an
apocalyptic zombie invasion?! Run from the undead in
this Halloween-themed race. Pre-registration required
by visiting:

Runners will be wearing flags (their lives) and will try to reach the finish without being tagged by the zombies and losing their life! If you lose your life you can continue to the end of the race! The main difference is whether you receive a death certificate or a completion certificate!

We will need runners and we will need zombies!
If you want to be a zombie - $5 donation towards makeup costs and contact Jon Ugalde to receive Zombie 101 Training!

Runners can register online for $10!

Half the proceeds go to charity and half of the proceeds go to next year’s run!

Who Wants to be a Super Villian?

- Location: Nevins Theater

This improv-comedy event will pit Alfred’s most
devious students against one another for the
opportunity to battle our reigning hero. $1 admission,
free comic.

Magician Ran D’Shine

- Location: Holmes Auditorium, Harder Hall

His unique presentations and styles have been
impressive for over a decade. He has wowed audiences
in such places as the 44th Presidential Inauguration and others around the globe, including South Africa.

Team Trivia Night!

- Location: BookEnd Lounge, Herrick Library

Test your trivia knowledge at Herrick Library’s upcoming Team Trivia Night! Milk and cookies will be made available, and the top three teams will be awarded prizes. We hope to see you all there!

Roller Skating

- Location: Davis Gym

Lace up to keep the fun, entertainment, and charity
rolling! $3 will grant you admission to the skating event
as well as a fashionable red wristband to show off your
support for HIV/AIDS awareness.

Siblings Weekend 2013

Have your siblings participate in this event-planned weekend! The film "Wolverine" will be in Nevins Theater, there will be line dancing, a Saturday varsity football game, a Zombie 5K, the Harlem Wizards, and magician Ran D’Shine.

All guests must submit a "Guest Registration Form for Minors" (attached) if your sibling(s) plan to stay in the residence halls. Contact with questions.
