Tennis Team Spaghetti Dinner

- Location: Susan Howell Hall

Alfred University’s Men’s and Women’s Tennis Team will be hosting a spaghetti dinner on Saturday Nov. 23, from 5-8 p.m., in Susan Howell Hall. Tickets will be $7 (+$1 if you want meatballs). In addition to food we will be having an acapella group join us.

Your ticket will get you a salad, dinner, breadsticks, a dessert, and a drink. In addition to dinner there will be raffles and prizes from Hedgerow Bakery, a local tanning salon and much much more!

The Clay Collective Live Auction is the Collective’s biggest fundraiser that generates funding for visiting artists and student travel to NCECA. The work for auction comes entirely as donations from undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and local artists.

John Gill will serve as our auctioneer.

Human Vs. Zombies @ AU

Humans vs. Zombies is a game of tag. All players begin as humans, and one is randomly chosen to be the "Original Zombie." The Original Zombie tags human players and turns them into zombies. Zombies must tag and eat a human every 72 hours or they starve to death and are out of the game.

Safety Information:

Safety Rules
Rules created for the safety of all players are strictly enforced. Violation of safety rules will result in a ban from the game.
1. No realistic looking weaponry. Blasters/Nerf guns are prohibited. Only socks will be used to stun zombies.
2. Players may not use cars or play where there is traffic.
3. No head shots allowed. Do not throw socks at the zombie’s head. Hits to the head don’t count as a stun.

Safe Zones
Some areas on campus are "no play zones," where the game is permanently suspended. These areas include:
• All academic and non-academic buildings
• Bathrooms
• Dorm rooms
• Dining Halls

Both players must have both feet outside of the no play zones in order to tag/stun.

Players:
Players of the game will be identified by a purple or gold bandana tied to an arm, leg or around their head.

SAGE on Stage Moved to January!

Students Advocating Gender Equality’s Annual Performance SAGE on Stage has been moved from this coming weekend to Jan. 31. However, SAGE is still looking for writers, actors, and directors to help with the performance.

SAGE on Stage involves short pieces of gender exploration (poems, monologues, stories, performance art, dance, etc.). If interested contact SAGE at sage@alfred.edu
