Saxon Comix

AU’s comic illustration club hosts visiting comic shops with inventory of new releases, back issues, and graphic novels.

Bergren Forum - ’Electricity Prices and County Economic Growth’

- Location: Nevins Theatre, Powell Campus Center

The Bergren Forum sponsored by the Division of Human Studies and the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences will be meeting at 12:10 P.M. on Thursday in the Nevins Theater, Powell Campus Center.

Bring a brown bag lunch; coffee and tea will be provided.

Speaker: Gregory Pac
Topic: "Electricity Prices and County Economic Growth"

Gregory Pac, assistant professor of economics, will discuss how electricity prices change and how this impacts economic growth both locally and nationally.

Special Geology/ENVS Talk by Alumnus Ben Pelto

- Location: Science Center 326

Ben Pelto, AU class of 2012, will be giving a talk about his master’s thesis work at the University of Massachusetts on April 28 in room 326 of the Science Center. The title of the talk will be "Post-LGM Provenance and Flow Regime Reconstruction for the Bering/Chukchi Seas through Sedimentological and Geochemical Evidence."

Ben will be finishing his MS degree this spring and then continuing on to a Ph.D. program at the University of Northern British Columbia in the fall.

This talk to open to all and refreshments will be served.
