Gertz Distinguished Speaker Alva Noe

Alva Noe, professor philosophy, University of California-Berkeley, will talk about "A Novel Experience."

'The Truth About Suicide'

- Location: Nevins Theatre
(7:00 PM - 8:00 PM)
Active Minds and the Counseling and Student Development Center invites you to "The Truth About Suicide": A short film investigating suicide on college campus. It will be shown on Monday, April 7 in Nevins Theatre at 7 p.m. A discussion will follow this 30-minute film.

GAR: Indiginous Peoples of South America

- Location: Knight Club

Global Awareness Roundtable: Indigenous people from Paraguay, Bolivia and Argentina
The presentation will be centered on two indigenous groups from South America: Guarani and Colla. These peoples, who are descendants of the original tribes that lived in South America thousands of years ago, have a long history and a rich culture that are worth knowing. Modern Languages TA, Noelia Tintilay, will talk about their ways of living and their most important traditions and beliefs.

Remembrance Vigil

Join us for quiet meditation or prayer, to offer the names of loved ones lost, & a candle-lit vigil to the Carillon.
