Graduate Seminar with Bernadette Wegenstein

Bernadette Wegenstein, associate professor in the Department of Media Study, University at Buffalo, and a visiting associate professor in the Department of German and Romance Languages and Literatures, The Johns Hopkins University, will talk about her work.

Biology Seminar -- Internships

Tim Wentworth, senior biology/chemistry majo,r will present an illustrated talk on his summer 2007 Jackson Laboratories Internship at Mt. Desert Isle, ME.

Three biology students (McKenzie Clemens, Michelle Damcott, Danielle Sullivan) will relate how they obtained career-related activities for summer 2008.

Suzanne Peterson, senior biology/education minor, will describe her on-campus internship as a biology teaching assistant.

10th Annual Samuel R. Scholes Jr. Lecture

- Location: Nevins Theatre, Powell Campus Center

This year’s speaker is: Paul Anastas, Ph.D., director of the Green Chemistry Institute at the American Chemical Society, is often known as the “Father of Green Chemistry.”
