Class Ring Sales

Class rings are an enduring memento of your college years - don’t miss out on getting one!

Stop by the table in the lobby of Powell to look over the class ring selection and make your order!

Representatives from Balfour will be available to answer your questions and help with ring sizing.

Being Prepared

A discussion on Effective Submissions to Galleries

Miranda K. Metcalf, Curator of Contemporary Prints, Davidson Galleries, Seattle, Washington, will give a presentation and lead a discussion about what you will need to prepare before approaching galleries with your artwork. Topics will include:: gallery interaction, exclusive representation contracts, and how to protect yourself and your work in the gallery environment. Time will be allowed for questions from the audience.

Anna Mlasowsky: Artist Talk

- Location: Room C, Binns Merill

Born 1984 in Germany Anna Mlasowsky received her BA in Glass from the Royal Danish Academy in 2011 and an MFA in Sculpture from the University of Washington in 2016. Her experimental work is included in various Museum collections such as The Corning Museum of Glass, The European Museum of Modern Glass Art and the Glasmuseum in Ebeltoft. She won the UK Glass Prize in 2013, the Otto Waldrich Preis and the Emerge Silver Award in 2014. Anna gave the prestigious Page Hazelgrove lecture at MIT in 2014. She is currently the research Artist in Residence at the Corning Inc. Science Center.

Movie Night

Tickets are $2.00 each(for AU Students) and the vans will leave from Powell at 8 PM. There is limited space this year for transportation. Please be sure to sign up and reserve your spot on the vans.
