Gallery Talk with Exhibiting Artists

This event is in conjunction with Nuclear Lawn Bowling: Sun at Midnight, the current exhibition at the Fosdick-Nelson Gallery, highlighting works by faculty from the Division of Sculpture/Dimensional Studies: Sarah Blood, Diane Cox, Karen Donnellan, Brett Hunter, Coral Lambert, Angus Powers and guest collaborators Paul Higham, John Hogan, Whitney Hubbs, Andrew Oesch, Hiromi Takizawa and “of the land and the sky, big horn mtns”.

Greiff Lecture in English by true crime writer Harold Schechter

Renowed true crime writer and poetry editor Harold Schechter will deliver the Greiff Lecture in English on Tuesday, March 14 at 5:30 in the Knight Club. Schecter's topic will be "Belle Gunness, the Lady Bluebeard of La Porte, Indiana," a fascinating and gruesome true tale with modern implications of gender and class. A reception and book signing will follow the lecture.

Harold Schechter is the author or editor a dozen of books, including Psycho USA: Famous Serial Killers You've Never Heard Of, The Mad Sculptor, and Killer Verse: Poems of Murder and Mayhem. He is professor of American literature and popular culture at Queens College of the City University of New York.

Movie Night

Tickets are $2.00 each(for AU Students) and the vans will leave from Powell at 8 PM. There is limited space this year for transportation. Please be sure to sign up and reserve your spot on the vans.
