Walk for the Walker Book Fund

First Annual Alfred University Purple & Gold Shoe Day Purchase Shoe Tags from our Support Staff Members outside the Book store in the Powell Campus Center on Monday April 24th and Tuesday April 25th from 12-1:30pm to Pin to your Purple/Gold shoes & wear them on April 28th to show your Saxon Pride!
Don't Have Purple/Gold Shoes? No Problem! Purchase Shoelaces also! Proceeds benefit the Gail Walker Book Fund

Speakers from Planned Parenthood

- Location: Nevin's Theater

On April 25th (Tuesday) from 6-8 pm in Nevins Theater, there will be two speakers from Planned Parenthood: Rachael Phelps & Sarah Blagg. Sarah is a sex educator who specializes in sexual assault awareness, and Rachel is a doctor who will be discussing Planned Parenthood’s medical services. This event is part of a Women’s Leadership Academy capstone project, and the final installment of three parts. Rubber bracelets saying "my body, my right" will also be available for purchase at $2, and proceeds will go directly to Planned Parenthood.

$2 Tuesday Movie Trips

- Location: Spotlight Theater, Hornell NY
(8:00 PM - 11:00 PM)
Every Tuesday there are 2 vans that leave from outside Powell at 8pm and travel to Hornell's Spotlight Movie Theater. Tickets are $2 a piece and require prepayment to guarantee your spot on the van. There is a limit of 12 seats per movie so register early in the CSI office.

International Folk Dancing
