Bergren Forum - Steve and Luanne Crosby

- Location: Nevins Theatre, Powell Campus Center

The Bergren Forum sponsored by the Division of Human Studies, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and the Provost Office will be meeting at 12:10 p.m., Thursday September 7 in the Nevins Theatre, Powell Campus Center.

Bring a brown bag lunch, coffee and tea will be provided.

Speaker: Steven and Luanne Crosby
Topic: "China: Terra Cotta Warriors, Fish Head Soup And Fiddle on the Roof"

Steven and Luanne Crosby, on sabbatical during the Spring semester, were invited to teach at China University of Geosciences in Wuhan, Hubei Province. The residency was arranged through the Confucius Institute. They will share their experiences teaching, touring and eating.

Don't Miss "Journey West" Friday at 8:00 in Holmes

Journey West will perform Friday Sept. 8, at 8 pm, at Holmes Auditorium in Harder Hall on the campus of Alfred University. The ensemble will be joined by refugee musicians from Iraq and Syria, who will share their remarkable stories and music.--- Concert is FREE
