Artaxis Conversations: 24 Artists, 16 Countries, 12 Hours

During the week of October 9th - 13th, National Clay Week is partnering with a range of artists and organizations across the ceramics field to explore the theme of community. This event opens a dialogue across our growing national and international membership. Artaxis Conversa-tions: 24 artists, 16 countries, 12 hours is scheduled for Tuesday, October 10th from 10am to 10pm Eastern Standard Time zone in the United States. 24 Artaxis members from 16 countries will answer questions, discuss their work, and share their perspective on the ceramic field through live streaming video on Facebook Live. All of the videos will be streamed on the Artaxis Facebook page. Professor of Ceramics Linda Sormin will be one of the participating artists in this forum, and will be answering questions that have been submitted to the Artaxis Conversa-tions’ webpage and discussing her work from 8:00-8:30pm. Professor Sormin is a graduate of the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University in 2003, and has been faculty since 2016.

International Folk Dancing
