The Holocaust Revisited: Lefkowitz Lecture in Jewish Studies

- Location: Nevins Theater, PCC
(5:30 PM - 7:20 PM)
Dr. Stephen Berk, an expert in the history of the Holocaust, will present a provocative lecture on the history of the Holocaust, its roots in historical anti-Semitism, the unfolding of the tragedy in Europe, and the failure of leaders in America and elsewhere to stop the destruction (one of the most controversial issues of the Holocaust today). A question and answer session will conclude the lecture, and a reception will follow where students can talk to Dr. Berk about the lecture, about the Holocaust, and about how our responsibility for the memory of the event affects our responses to ongoing crimes against humanity. Sponsored by the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

ASME Weekly Meeting

- Location: Seidlin 114
(7:00 PM - 7:30 PM)
The American Society of Mechanical Engineers meets weekly to talk about plant trips, bowling, and ASME Section Dinners.
