The Holocaust Revisited: Lefkowitz Lecture in Jewish Studies

- Location: Nevins Theater, PCC

Dr. Stephen Berk, an expert in the history of the Holocaust, will present a provocative lecture on the history of the Holocaust, its roots in historical anti-Semitism, the unfolding of the tragedy in Europe, and the failure of leaders in America and elsewhere to stop the destruction (one of the most controversial issues of the Holocaust today). A question and answer session will conclude the lecture, and a reception will follow where students can talk to Dr. Berk about the lecture, about the Holocaust, and about how our responsibility for the memory of the event affects our responses to ongoing crimes against humanity. Sponsored by the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

Romancing the Toaster (The second slice)

Cedar Ridge Art Gallery (225 Confederation Dr, Toronto, Ontario)

An expansion of the January 2017 exhibition at the Cohen Gallery, Romancing the Toaster crosses the border to Toronto, Ontario, to explore the Cedar Ridge Art Gallery, a converted 5000sq ft 'summer home' built in 1844. Additional work includes a series of textured screenprints and color lithographs.
