Bergren Forum - Diana Maguire

The Bergren Forum sponsored by the Division of Human Studies, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and the Provost's Office will be meeting at 12:10 p.m., Thursday October 26 in Nevins Theatre, Powell Campus Center.

Bring a brown bag lunch, coffee and tea will be provided.

Speaker: Diana Maguire
Topic: "First Year Students' Business Practicum: Impacts of Early Experiential Learning"

In 2015, Alfred University's School of Business adjusted its curriculum to add a required practicum for first-year students in their second-semester. The hands-on course, requiring students to create real business projects, is more typically offered to student in the final stages of their business course sequence. Maguire will share the findings of her two-year study (2016-2017) that measured students' perceptions of the impact of the course understanding of their major and potential careers.

The Hornell Community Theatre presents "The Great American Trailer Park Musical." This hilarious, adult comedy will be presented October 26 & 27 with Snacks and on the October 28 there will be a Full dinner included with the Show! The Main Place, 251 Main St., Hornell.

Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the show will begin at 7:00 p.m. on October 26 and 27.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m., Dinner at 6:00 p.m., Show at 7:30 p.m. on October 28.

***For mature audiences due to language and adult situations.***

Come join us with some of our favorite residents of Armadillo Acres.

"The Great American Trailer Park Musical" features music and lyrics by David Nehls, book by Betsy Kelso.

Penny Smith will direct Hornell Community Theatre's production.

The show features the talents of Many Local Celebrities!!!

Tickets for "The Great American Trailer Park Musical"
$20 for the Show on the 26th and 27th and will feature Redneck Snacks!

$37 for the Show on the 28th that will feature a Full Dinner!

Tickets be available only at the Hornell Public Library.

The Great American Trailer Park Christmas Musical is presented by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc., New York.

Romancing the Toaster (The second slice)

Cedar Ridge Art Gallery (225 Confederation Dr, Toronto, Ontario)

An expansion of the January 2017 exhibition at the Cohen Gallery, Romancing the Toaster crosses the border to Toronto, Ontario, to explore the Cedar Ridge Art Gallery, a converted 5000sq ft 'summer home' built in 1844. Additional work includes a series of textured screenprints and color lithographs.
