Basic Business Planning workshop with Betsy Matz sponsored by Cohen Gallery in collaboration with the Cattaraugus County Arts Council (CCAC)

Learn the basics of creating a workable business plan including financial planning, taxes, and tax IDs. Basic accounting and cost behavior will also be presented.
ALL community members are welcome to attend.

About the presenter:
Betsy taught accounting at the college level for over 30 years, primarily at the University of Pittsburgh Bradford, where she received the Pitt Bradford Alumni Association Teaching Excellence Award and the Chairs Teaching Award.
Betsy is also a fiber artist and basket weaver. She's exhibited her work broadly at festivals and exhibitions including 100 American Artists, The Art of Craft (Denver Art Museum), the Allentown Art Festival, as well as through numerous museum shops and galleries.

Choral Concert on Saturday, March 24
(7:30 PM - 9:00 PM)
The Alfred University Chorus and Chamber Singers present "Theresienmesse" (The Theresa Mass) by Josef Haydn. This magnificent work will feature both choirs, Laurel Buckwalter at the organ and Chris Foster, trumpet as well as four AU alumni in the solo quartet. Rachel Romack ('16) , Maggie Fairman Williams ('02) Trevor Larcheveque ('10) and Domenick Freda ('98) return to their alma mater as soloists. The performance will be conducted by Adam Potter, Assistant Professor of Choral Studies at Roberts Wesleyan College.
The concert begins at 7:30PM in the Alfred Seventh Day Baptist church and will also feature works by Stephen Paulus, Ole Gjielo and the Pentatonix. The concert is free.
