Non-Statutory Open Enrollment Meetings

- Location: Kenyon-Allen Rooms, Powell Campus Center

The Benefits Department has rescheduled the open enrollment meetings for non-statutory employees for Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012 in the Kenyon-Allen Rooms, Powell Camus Center. The meetings will be at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3 p.m.

Diana Cooper Public Lecture

Diana Cooper received her B.A. in 1986 from Harvard College and her M.F.A from Hunter College in 1997. She is the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship, the Rome Prize, a Pollock-Krasner Grant and a New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship.

In 2009, ‘Americans for the Arts’ honored her NYC Percent for Art permanent project "Out of the Corner of My Eye," as one of the top public art projects of that year. In 2011 the project was featured in "The Classroom Collection" a 5-part series on NY1. In 2007, a 10-year survey of her work, "Beyond the Line: The Art of Diana Cooper" was on view at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Cleveland, OH.

Her work has been featured in group exhibitions at P.S. 1 Contemporary Art Center, the Whitney Museum of American Art (Altria), Contemporary Art Center Cincinnati, the Brooklyn Museum, the He Xiangning Museum, Shenzhen, and most recently in the inaugural exhibition "Seeing and Knowing" at the Gund Gallery at Kenyon College.

Ms. Cooper lives in New York City and is represented by Postmasters Gallery where she will have her seventh solo show in the spring of 2013.

Experience the magical sounds of the Chamber Singers under the direction of Luanne Crosby of Alfred University. This talented student musical group will perform a variety of music, from classical to folk, global, jazz, and popular and will feature several soloists.

The library-sponsored concert is free and open to the general public.
