Alfred Farmers Market

- Location: Alfred Village Green (Main St and Saxon Dr)

With educational events and festivals throughout the season, the market is a fun destination for the entire family.

Products available at the market include fresh fruits and vegetables, locally pastured meat and eggs, bread and other baked goods, maple products, jams and jellies, honey, candies and sweets, as well as arts and crafts.

The Alfred Farmers Market is a growers-only market, meaning that vendors must grow or produce everything they sell. We aim to support agriculture as a way of life by providing growers with an opportunity to sell directly to the public.

Collaboration and cooperation are vital for a community to grow and flourish. The sharing of ideas and actions and the collective expansion upon these ideas and action showcases the strength of the community. The goal of this show is to utilize Turner as a space for artists inside and outside the Alfred community to come together in an environment in which to express themselves.

This exhibition will include collaborative works by participating artists within the Alfred community. Within the exhibition environment, the selected group of artists from outside Alfred will create interactive works and performances that engage viewers to explore the benefits of a collaborative situation.
