Ayn Rand’s Radical Philosophy: Why You Should Care

- Location: McNamara Room 1st floor Powell Campus Center
(5:00 PM - 6:00 PM)
Ayn Rand is best known as the author of "Atlas Shrugged," where she first presented the essential ingredients of her philosophy of Objectivism.

AU’s Students of Objectivism studies this rich, life-serving and affirming philosophy. We cover topics as diverse as how you can be confident in your mind, whether reason and emotion are in conflict, the standard for judging good and bad, whether self-interest is moral, whether rights imply obligations, the proper role of government, and much more.

Along the way we’ll analyze current events from an Objectivist perspective. The group is open to absolutely anyone interested in learning more about Objectivism, whatever their background!
