Anthony and Kathleen Cross '91 Calamunci are living in Toledo, OH. They have two boys, Tony Jr., age 5, and Jacob age 3. Anthony is a partner in a 14-person law firm in Toledo and Kathleen is doing consulting.
David M. Moreau received his MBA from the University of Rochester's Simon School of Business in June'90.
Bill '91 and Denise Chunka Slusser are living in Bethel Park, PA. Denise is a marketing programs manager at Fore Systems in Pittsburgh and Bill is a research engineer for Harbison Walker Retractions.

I spoke with Brian Battle, '91, on the phone recently about nominating former basketball teammate, the late Derek Jackson '90, for the AU Sports Hall of Fame. We both swapped stories about Derek, sports at AU and our fraternities, Delta Sig and Klan Alpine. Brian, who is the compliance director for athletics at Florida State University, is fired up about the Seminoles' big win over the arch-rival Florida Gators...

Richard Cummngs is teaching economics and social studies at Naples Central School in Naples, NY.
Neil Anson is in Dallas, TX, working for Tenet Healthsystems as a senior systems analyst for budgeting software. Neil says he loves living in Dallas and enjoys working for a Fortune 500 company. He fondly remembers the crazy days of freshman year in Reimer Hall and wouldn't mind hearing from his former classmates.

Christopher Pepin has recently accepted the credit manager position at Central International Companies Ltd., an import/export firm in Needham, MA. In addition he has been charged with the responsibility of securing lines of credit with a number of foreign suppliers and banking institutions in the Netherlands and Philippines, in an effort to expand into the Far East Market. He says, "I look forward to many adventures and new experiences in my travels and hope the New Millennium brings me much success and a sure proof solution for Jet Lag. Not to mention continued happiness with my spouse Veronica Sun '95 Pepin."
1995

Kurt Gohde '95 sent us the following; "I received my masters in fine art (sculpture) in May of '98 from Syracuse University. I started as an assistant professor of art at Transylvania University in Lexington, KY, in September of this year. I published a limited edition book of my drawings in 1998, which is currently in the collections of: The New York Public Library, New York City; the Arthur and Mata Jaffe Foundation, Brown University, the Harris Collection of American Poetry and Plays, RI; Syracuse University; Rochester Institute of Technology; and Harvard University, Fogg Museum, Cambridge, MA, and received an International Book of the Year Award from the Bienes Center for the Book and Literary Arts, Fort Lauderdale, FL.
1996
Matt Vetter is living in Morristown, NJ working as an Engineering Geologist for Gentech Engineering in Sayreville, NJ.
1997
Ken Bishop received his associate's degree in Business Administration from Alfred Tech., and is enrolled in the health in fitness management masters program at American University in Washington, DC (he can't seem to stay away from the "AUs"). He is working 3 part-time jobs, all in the field of fitness, and resides in Bethesda, MD.
Matt Hanson is a banker and broker at M & T Bank in Rochester, NY.
Marianne Cacciola is working for Bankers Trust Company in Dublin, Ireland. She is doing valuations and pricing of international trades.
Dom Freda writes that he "couldn't stay away from college for very long..." After taking a year off to try out the job market, scope out a couple of graduate programs, and basically try and decide what he wanted to spend the next "forty-some-odd years doing," he decided to audition for the Bachelor of Music program in Performance Voice at Queens College where he is studying voice. He will be entering voice competitions and hopes to take graduate courses in English in addition to the coursework in his major. He writes, "still driving a forklift and singing through the warehouse." He continues to write and hopes to submit to the Alfred Review. He says, "if I get into Julliard or make my debut in the New York City Opera anytime soon, I'll send out word..."
Cassandra Racasi is pursuing a masters degree in Manhattan. She writes that "hopefully before the end of the century she will have a masters degree in forensic psychology."
Cheryl Wilczynski is living in Morristown, NJ, and working at Gale and Wentworth, LLC in Florham Park as a portfolio accountant.
Dan Neuburger has been employed as a graphic designer at Quad Graphics, the fourth largest printing company in the country and possibly the world. He works out of the New York City office in mid-town Manhattan. He resides in Long Island and says that he wouldn't mind catching up with fellow Alfredians who live or work in Manhattan or Long Island. Other than working, Dan does some landscaping around his house and spends time doing artwork on his computer.
Peter Wiernicki is currently pursuing a masters degree in student affairs in higher education at Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Indiana,PA. He holds a graduate assistantship as a Residence Hall Director at the IUP Punxsutawney campus and has held graduate internship in Judicial Affairs at IUP and Career Development Center at St. Vincent College in Latrobe, PA. After graduation in May 1999, he expects to relocate to the New England region to pursue a career in Student Affairs.
Ryan Connolly is a benefits consultant for Price Waterhouse Coopers Kwasha HR Solutions in New York City. Kwasha is the benefits consulting leg of PwC which provides global human resource solutions to its clients (defined contribution-- 401(k), pension, health and welfare, etc.)
Jennifer Corrado spent a year in Charlotte, NC, teaching 4th grade and is currently teaching 4th grade in Long Island.
Josh and Rebecca Higginbottom Dahlman wrote, "there were about 20 or so Alfred folks at our wedding as well as about 100 family members. We were married in a 200 year old meeting house and had the reception at Rebecca's grandparents' 75-acre place on the ocean!" Josh and Rebecca honeymooned in Aruba for a week and Josh "highly recommends Aruba as a vacation spot!" Josh has been working at Corning as a glass and ceramic process engineer since January 1998. He has one projects in the 32" TV panel business with SONY and Corning and is currently working in photonic fiberoptic component development at their pilot facility. He says, "Buy Corning stock, it is on its way up!" Rebecca is a process engineer at Corning She spends her time in fiber development on one of three teams that are all internal to Corning. Sometimes the US and France team get together and update on progress in France!
Evelyn Trezeliak is working in merchandising at Gitman Brothers Shift Company in NY, NY.
Amanda Poole has served a year in the Peace Corps teaching 7th grade English in Eritrea, Africa. She was evacuated due to conflicts with Ethiopia and is re-enrolling to teach in Namibia for a 2-year assignment starting in October. She says, "Living in Alfred definitely prepared me for a life where you have to be pretty creative to entertain yourself."
Matt Leech has been living in Michigan. However, he is currently in the process of relocating to Pittsburgh where he will start a new job with Eljer. Eljer just became partners with Jacuzzi. In 6 months, Matt will start going to night classes to get his masters.
Robert Bozzi is living in Alexandria, VA, and working for Price Waterhouse Coopers LLP, Arlington, VA, Office of Government Services, in their Change Integration Consulting Practice.
Brian Klump is employed with RTI, a computer consulting firm based in Fairfax, VA., and is working on a contract in the Los Angeles area. Prior to RTI he was at Dun & Bradstreet in NJ. Brian resides in Burbank, CA, and writes, "I love it out here, and let me tell ya, it's a bit different than Alfred."

Devin Dressman is in the Interdisciplinary Biomedical Graduate Program at the University of Pittsburgh's School of Medicine. He is currently in the Department of Molecular Genetics and Biochemistry, where he plans to earn his Ph.D., with his advisor being Eric Hoffman. He is working on two projects at this time: 1. finding the gene that causes X-linked Spinal Molecular Atrophy, and 2. Using Adeno-associated Viral Vector in gene therapy for the Sarcoglycanopathies (a form of Muscular Dystrophy).
Aaron Yecies is attending SUNY Buffalo pursuing a masters degree in geology, specializing in basin analysis with a focus in Paleontology.
1998
Denise Miller is living in Alfred. She is a substitute teacher for various schools in the Alfred area.
Caroline and Jacob Kimble Kramer reside in North Carolina.
Amy M. Heller is working on her masters of art in psychology at Washington College.
Amy Conroy began working as a staff accountant at Ernst and Young in Syracuse, NY. She resides in Liverpool and will be taking the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam in early November.
Heather L. Clemons accepted a graduate assistantship at Oregon State University as grad-assistant athletic trainer for the Women's Soccer Team while pursing her M.S. in sports medicine.
David A. Walsh is attending Baylor University. He is a Ph.D. candidate in organic chemistry. He writes, "All is well here, but I miss the people of Alfred University."
Christine E. Brown is currently working on her masters degree in art education at Dowling College.
Rachel K. Patterson writes, "I had the incredible opportunity of working with rap artist Lauryn Hill (formerly of the Fugees) as a costume designers assistant for her newly released video 'Doo Wop' (That Thing) from her latest album... check the credits!"
Paul J. Mitchell is a first-year graduate student at Appalachian State University-Boone, NC, in the department of geography and planning.
Eva J. Mettrey is in the process of restoring a home in the historical area of Raleigh, which will house a studio. Gerard T. Mc Coy has a job teaching at his old high school in Bethpage, NY. He also coaches soccer, basketball and lacrosse.
Cristina C. Pinton was accepted as a member of the local Canton Artist Guild. She is working part-time as fashion representative for Express and part-time as teacher's assistant for the Bridge Youth Shelter in West Hartford, CT. At the shelter she works closely with approx. eight, 11-17 year old, socially disturbed, often neglected and abused teenagers working art and imagery into the academic schooling as well as social/emotional exploration. She is seeking certification in art education and possibly special education.
David J. Knepple is working on a masters degree in psychology while working as a full-time assistant athletic trainer.
Eric L. Myers writes," Well, I've finally moved out of the backseat of my car into an apartment. I've been spending my time acting, street performing, learning how to adjust to the graveyard shift, and coordinating a small newsletter for both students and graduates who all sat in the same room in Powell Dining Hall - The Asylum.
Marcia L. Palmer is a self employed artist. She and her partner did a show in November, "Two Women and Their Art." Marcia does ceramics and her partner paints.
Christina M. Lombardi was the Campaign Coordinator for the 1st Congressional District's Candidate for the Democratic party in Suffolk County, Long Island, this past summer.
John R. Hartmann accepted a very late, but welcome full tuition scholarship to study in the philosophy department at SUNY-Stony Brook (MA in philosophy).
Matthew J. Kessler has been commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Marine Corps.
April D. Sobota is currently attending the College of Veterinary medicine at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. She is also working at an animal hospital that deals with horses and small animals.
Joseph Dragotta was named to the National Dean's List. He is a 5th grade school teacher in Rockville Centre, Long Island.
Jon Tollerup is a ceramic engineer at Mansfield Plumbing Products in Perrysville, OH. Jon is involved in the production aspect of the plant and is in training to be a supervisor of a section of the plant. He recently spent time working at their plant in Texas.
Shannon Youmell resides in Richmond, VA, and is working at a zoo!
Shannon E. Youmell is looking forward to the balmy winter of Virginia instead of the arctic Alfred Temp.
Cheryl Hurst is currently serving a year-long term of volunteer work in Charleston, SC, through AmeriCorps National Community Civilian Corps.
