Bette Blank gave a talk on January 23, 2013 titled "Domesticity in the Art of Women Then and Now" with the curator of the Zimmerli Art Museum at Salon W. in New York City. Bette is a contemporary artist whose paintings focus on the everyday life of middle class women.
Patrick Brennan, in collaboration with fellow artist Jean-Baptiste Bernadet, recently ran an exhibition titled Dirty Windows, a series of canvas paintings intended to distort and warp the observer's vision. The exhibit was open from December 2012 through January 2013 at Toomer Labzda in the East Village of New York City. Brennan is currently based in Brooklyn, NY.
Amelia Patsy opened a solo photography exhibition titled "An Industrial Revolution: The Photography of Amelia Patsy" on Jan. 14, 2013 in the Richland Township gallery at Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art in Johnstown, PA. The exhibit features 55 gleatin silver prints and cyanotypes chronicling the industrial heritage of western Pennsylvania.
