Alfred Village Bandstand - built by the community 20 years ago and refurbished, the bandstand is the site of weekly concerts during the summer, as well as drama and dance performances, not to mention Frisbee games on a sunny day. The Bicycle Man >>> Bromley-Daggett Equestrian Center located at Maris Cuneo Equine Park >>> Foster Lake >>> Phillips Creek State Forest - offers a marked and mapped trail system for hiking, nordic skiing and horseback riding. The entrance to the park is 10 minutes from downtown Alfred on Rte 244. Pine Hill Trails - 2.5 miles of densely wooded, hillside trails just behind the AU campus.
