Cohens Make a $2 Million Gift

A gift from Michele and Marty Cohen will create an endowed dean’s position for the School of Art and Design, and provide immediate funding for an applied learning program for Alfred University students, regardless of major.



Grateful alumnus creates endowed professorship

Dr. Wesley Bentz, emeritus professor of chemistry, is memorable, inside the classroom and out. Now, his concern for one of his former students, the late Dr. Frank Goetz, a 1971 alumnus of Alfred University, has led to an endowed professorship.



Alumnus Brings Color to the World

Alumnus Don McPherson, who earned his master’s and Ph.D. degrees from Alfred University, is helping hundreds of thousands of people see color for the first time.
