Position Title: Director of Admissions
Location: Admissions
 
Responsibilities: Planning, managing, and evaluating recruiting and admissions activities. Additionally, the director will possess knowledge of best practices in marketing and emerging technology communications. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing all communication for the Office of Admissions including publications, social media, and e-communications. The director will work collaboratively with the VP for Enrollment Management and the VP for University Relations in coordinating university-wide marketing. Also works with a team of colleagues in Enrollment Management, including the Director of Financial Aid, Director of Enrollment Operations and Research, Director of Academic Support Services, and Director of Opportunity Programs. Manages an energetic staff of 13 professionals.
   
Requirements: The successful candidate will have an appropriate degree (Bachelors required, Masters preferred); technical and strategic enrollment management expertise, including geodemography and predictive modeling; strong leadership, management, communication, and interpersonal skills; and a desire to build and maintain an effective team focused on results. The candidate should be goal-oriented, and have experience in managing in a team-focused environment. Salary is competitive, with an excellent benefits package.

   
Experience: Seven to ten years of increasingly responsible managerial experience in admissions, and experience with electronic communications, market research, and data analysis.
