Position Title: Assistant Professor of Law and Taxation
Location: School of Business
Responsibilities: The School of Business at Alfred University invites applications for a tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in taxation and law beginning August 2014. Our AACSB-International Accredited Programs include undergraduate business education and an MBA with a specialization in accounting. The university values excellence in teaching and development of students as individuals, and offers opportunities for collaboration with faculty members across campus. Vibrant student business clubs, service learning programs, and internships provide opportunities for active learning.
Requirements: We are seeking a candidate who is teaching-oriented with an established or emerging record of successful research publications who can fulfill Academic Qualifications as defined by AACSB. The appointment requires an MS/MBA paired with a CPA, or JD plus taxation specialization.
Experience: Salary will be commensurate with degree and experience; research and professional development support is available.
