Position Title: Tenure Track Assistant Professor
Location: Psychology
Responsibilities: CLINICAL/COUNSELING PSYCHOLOGY: The Psychology Division invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position at the assistant professor level beginning August 2014. The successful candidate should have a strong commitment to teaching at the undergraduate level and the ability to conduct research that would involve undergraduates. The teaching load is 12 hours per semester (typically three courses of 4 credit hours each).
Requirements: The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. or PsyD. in clinical or counseling or school psychology.
Experience: Strong consideration will be given to applicants who are able to develop courses in forensic psychology, child or school psychology/counseling, cross-cultural psychology, industrial/organizational psychology, art or creative therapy, or other areas of the candidate’s expertise. Alfred University is a small, comprehensive university in rural Western NY with a long-standing tradition of excellence in Liberal Arts.
