Women's Leadership speaker will offer stress busters while deconstructing ‘The Superwoman’ myth

The Alfred University Women’s Leadership Center (WLC) will host Michelle Courtney Berry, MPS, CISD, RMT, internationally certified critical incident stress de-briefer and stress management expert, on Wednesday, Feb. 6 at 5:30 p.m. in the Judson Leadership Center on campus. She will talk about “Honoring Superwomen While Deconstructing the Myth of ‘The Superwoman’.” The presentation is open to the public free of charge.

AU English professor brings 'Roleplay' to Bergren Forum series

Alfred University Professor of English Juliana Gray will present “Roleplay: A Reading of Personal and Persona Poems” as the first lecture in the Spring 2013 Bergren Forum series on Thursday, Feb. 7 at 12:10 p.m. in the Nevins Theater, Powell Campus Center.

Schein-Joseph Ceramic Museum features ‘New Morphologies’

“New Morphologies,” an exhibit curated by Alfred University (AU) alumnus Del Harrow and sculptor Stacy Jo Scott, featuring eight nationally and internationally known ceramic artists will be displayed in AU’s Schein-Joseph International Museum of Ceramic Art Thursday, Feb. 7 through Friday, April 5.

Alfred University’s (AU) Career Development Center will host its annual Internship & Summer Job Fair from noon – 2 p.m., Friday, Feb. 15, 2013 in the Powell Campus Center Knight Club.
