Dance concert showcases students, faculty, guest
The Alfred University (AU) spring Dance Theater Concert performances, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, Feb. 21-23, will feature the work of Marlin and Ginger Miller Guest Artist Brian Brooks, as well as new dances choreographed by AU dance students and faculty members.

Schein-Joseph Ceramic Museum features ‘New Morphologies’
“New Morphologies,” an exhibit curated by Alfred University (AU) alumnus Del Harrow and sculptor Stacy Jo Scott, featuring eight nationally and internationally known ceramic artists will be displayed in AU’s Schein-Joseph International Museum of Ceramic Art Thursday, Feb. 7 through Friday, April 5.

MBA students offer free tax preparation
Beginning Thursday, Feb. 7, and each Thursday through March 7, Alfred University (AU) is offering free tax return preparation for qualified residents through Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA), an organization that offers IRS (Internal Revenue Service)-certified volunteer preparers to file taxes for community members.

Greg Leshe, AU Class of 1985, has his work featured in “Persona,” a contemporary mixed media exhibition investigating the construction and internalizing of a psychological self.

Sinisa Kukec, AU Class of 2001, will open his solo exhibition entitled “LOVELIKETHEUNIVERSE: The Collected Social Media Writings of Isha Rose Servitus” on Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013 at Spinello Projects in Miami, FL.
