Alfred University student Mawia Elawad will be featured in USA Today’s “I Am an American” series as a representative of Art Force 5, the Alfred University student group formed in 2006 as part of the university’s Drawn to Diversity program.

Charles Scheetz has been appointed Director of Financial Aid for Alfred University, joining Alfred University on Jan. 3 after a three-year tenure as Director of Student Financial Aid at Mansfield University, in Mansfield, Pa.

Student Expenses Are To Be Supported from Bernstein Travel Fund Still Room on Alfred University Haiti Service Trip

Alfred University students interested in joining the Spring Break Service Trip to Haiti still have time to reserve a spot. Generous support from the Bernstein Travel Fund has resulted in lowering the individual student cost of the trip to $1,200 to $1,600, and a $800 deposit must be submitted by Jan. 13.
