Two Alfred University (AU) alumni, Mark Mertel and Russ Cesari, will be presenting “What Worked for Us – Our Ten Principles of Business Success” on Thursday, Oct. 11 from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. in Holmes Auditorium, located in AU’s Harder Hall. All are welcome.

Party in Pink Zumbathon to benefit breast cancer awareness
Alfred University (AU) will host a “Party in Pink” Zumbathon® from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 7, at McLane Center Physical Education Center on the AU campus. The Zumbathon® is part of the Passionately Pink for the Cure events sponsored by AU, and all proceeds benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation for Breast Cancer Awareness.

Bergren Forum to focus on implications of learning styles
Beth Johnson, assistant professor of psychology at Alfred University, will present “The Social Psychology of Learning Styles and Its Implications for Pedagogy” as part of Alfred University’s ongoing Bergren Forum series.
Johnson will host the lecture on Thursday, Oct. 11. The discussion will begin at 12:10 p.m. and will take place in the Nevins Theater, located in Alfred University’s Powell Campus Center. All are welcome.
