  AU increases scholarships for engineering competition winners  

 

                   

The stakes just went up for winners of Alfred University’s annual Engineering and Materials Science Day competition, scheduled for Oct. 26 on the AU campus. This year, the first-place winner in the revamped competition for the Kazuo Inamori School of Engineering will be entitled to a $10,000 scholarship – $2,500 a year for four years – if he or she enrolls as an engineering major at Alfred University.
