Admissions Office announces upcoming campus visit events
ALFRED, NY – The Alfred University Office of Admissions announces several upcoming opportunities for potential and accepted students to visit the campus and learn more about the University.
Saturday Visit days are scheduled for Jan. 27, Feb. 24 and March 24. Each Saturday Visit day begins with a group information session beginning at 10 a.m., followed by general campus tours and specialty tours in art or engineering at 11 a.m.
The University will host a Winter Open House on Feb. 10. The event begins with registration at 8:30 a.m. and will feature academic breakout sessions, an academic fair, and lunch in Ade Dining Hall before concluding with art, engineering and general campus tours at 12:45 p.m.
The Winter Open House affords potential students and their families a chance to meet with deans and professors, financial aid and admissions staff, career development specialists, and more, while also touring the scenic campus and state-of-the-art art and engineering facilities.
Accepted Student Open Houses are scheduled for April 7 and 14. This is the perfect time for accepted students to meet your potential classmates and speak with professors and representatives from the Financial Aid Office, the Center for Academic Success, the Career Development Center, Residence Life, Dining Services, and more. There will also be opportunities to learn more about student clubs and organizations and take a tour of campus.
Discovery Day Spring Open House is scheduled for April 28. Details will be announced.
