University tapped as one of top creative colleges in nation
The second edition of “Creative Colleges: A Guide for Student Actors, Artists, Dancers, Musicians and Writers” has named Alfred University as one of the top 200 programs in the nation for creative students.
AU offers majors such as ceramic art, sculpture, drawing, painting, and photography in the School of Art and Design. In the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences there are creative majors offered such as English, as well as performing arts with disciplines in music, theater, and dance.
Author Elaina Loveland has been a professional writer and editor for nearly a decade. She is a former editor of the National Association for College Admission Counseling’s “Journal of College Admission” and holds a master’s degree in English. Loveland has taught both college-level English and dance to children in the Washington, D.C. area.
