Alfred University YouVisit Virtual Tour Now Live

Alfred University this week unveiled its long awaited YouVisit site, a virtual tour of the Alfred University campus that will serve as a powerful aid for future enrollment efforts.

The online tour  – located at -- will provide high school students and their families a virtual exploration of the campus with highlighted locations that include the Miller Performing Arts Center, Harder Hall, the McMahon Building, the Arthur and Lea Powell Campus Center and the Alfred Ceramic Art Museum.

“It’s a huge step forward in terms of showing the beauty and vibrancy of our campus,” said Kathy Woughter, vice president of Student Affairs and interim vice president of Enrollment Management, noting the virtual tour will also serve as a temporary measures while the university continues the redesign of its website.

Woughter also thanked the following Alfred University staff members for their help in designing the YouVisit site: Hannah Clark, Kristen Vargason, Missy Pomeroy, Bill Sliwa, and Rick McLay, as well as Alfred University student Quinn Porzio.

Clark noted the virtual tour can be accessed through all types of devices, and an App for the tour is available in Apple and Android stores. The tour is also available in virtual reality with the use of a VR headset. Finally, Clark noted, the audio narration of the tour is in Spanish as well as English.

Faculty, staff and alumni are welcome to share the tour with friends and relatives. It’s a great way to virtually connect with Alfred University!
