Charlie Best brings Tin Can Telephone to Turner Gallery
Artist Charlie Best brings Tin Can Telephone to Alfred University tonight, Feb. 17, in The Robert C. Turner Gallery.
Tin Can Telephone is described as “a show by Charlie Best, friends, strangers, and family, many of whom may never meet each other beyond this event. Ideas of possibility, collectivity, fantasy, and the everyday merge into a de/reconstruction of objects, words, and sounds.”
The performance begins at 7pm. It is free and open to the public. Best promises “there will be music, direct eye contact, fabric and video and the world’s longest tin can telephone.”
