Taylor Jaczko, third-year student, wins scholarship to study at Brooklyn School of Languages
Alfred University student Taylor Jaczko of New Windsor, NY, was recently awarded a scholarship for $1,900 from Phi Sigma Iota, International Foreign Language Honor Society, to complete a Teaching English as a Foreign Language course at the Brooklyn School of Languages over the summer.
With a double major in Foreign Language and Culture studies with a concentration in French and Global Studies and a minor in Anthropology, Jaczko hopes to participate in the Fulbright Program or the Teaching Assistant Program in France after she graduates from Alfred University in 2018.
Jaczko received the Caroline Littell Travel Award to study abroad in Grenoble, France last fall and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa this spring.
