Voice of classical music Bliss Michelson shares appreciation of MostArts
Bliss Michelson has long been recognized as a leading voice representing classical music on public radio, in addition to his own expertise as a double bass musician in the classical repertoire. He and his wife, oboist Peggy Wiltrout, continue to play classical music in the Delaware, where they live, and Bliss currently supervises classical music broadcasts at WRTI.
Bliss and Wiltrout have become regulars at Alfred University’s MostArts festival, and Bliss recently recorded his appreciation of the festival for Buffalo-based public radio station WNEB. Enjoy it on YouTube, with an accompanying slideshow assembled by Alfred University’s Rick McLay.
