Photography of Jennifer Schlup appears in British Journal, Montpelier festival
The photography of Jennifer Niederhauser Schlup, who served as Randall chair at Alfred University’s School of Art and Design in 2016, was featured recently in The British Journal of Photography. In addition, Schlup’s photographic narrative project Did They Really Put a Man on the Moon was included in the recent Festival of European Photography – The Boutographies, held in Montpelier France.
The Montpelier festival was started 16 years ago by a group of photography enthusiasts and has developed into a renowned exhibition of leading and emerging photographic talent.
Schlup’s Did They Really a Man on the Moon exhibit included images drawn from Alfred University as well as Hammondsport, N.Y. where pioneer aviator Glenn Curtiss pushed the boundaries of manned flight in the early 20th century.
