DELHI, NY -- Host Hartwick College defeated the Alfred University men's tennis team, 8-1, Saturday afternoon in matches played on the indoor courts at SUNY Delhi.

Freshman Nathan Garletts (Havertown, PA/Haverford) and sophomore Ryan Parlia (Valley Stream, NY/Valley Stream South) earned the Saxons' lone victory of the day, taking second doubles, 9-8 (7-2).

Alfred (2-4, 1-2 Empire 8) takes on visiting Empire 8 foe Stevens at noon today (April 5).
