Local artist/alumna announces ‘From the Earth’ event

Linda Huey, AU class of 1993, and her neighbors welcome you to the 2009 Second Annual “From the Earth,” event, Saturday, July 11, 11 a.m.–6 p.m.

Be inspired by flower and vegetable gardens, tour an organic dairy farm, visit pottery and woodworking studios, buy a perennial plant, take a guided bird walk, make a doll from hollyhocks, and more ... 11th, rain or shine...

Directions:  To go to Linda Huey first, go 0.9 miles south from the traffic light in Alfred and turn right on Randolph Road (sign also says "Lighthouse Ministries").  Then go about 1.2 miles to the brown wood house on the right.  Follow the path through the garden to the sugar shed.  Maps will be available there and at all locations.
