ALFRED, NY —The Alfred University men’s soccer team tied 0-0 against Utica in an Empire 8 Conference contest Sunday afternoon.

Alfred went into double overtime with Utica and neither team was able to come up with a goal.

Utica (3-6-1, 0-2-1 E8) outshot Alfred 15-12.
Sophomore goalie Elliot Thorpe (Highlands Ranch, CO/ Thunder Ridge) made four saves in goal for Alfred. Kevin Murphy made four saves in goal for Utica.

Alfred (5-4-1, 0-2-1 E8) is in action next on Saturday, Oct. 10, at 3 p.m. against host Elmira.
