KEUKA PARK, NY — The Alfred University volleyball team came up short at Keuka College Wednesday evening, dropping a 3-1 decision to the host Storm.

AU (2-18, 0-4 Empire 8) lost by scores of 25-13, 25-19, 18-25, and 25-23. Senior Emily Steen (South Pasadena, CA/Purnell) had 11 kills, 10 digs, two service aces and a pair of blocks to lead the Lady Saxons. Sophomore Emily Crosby (Fairport, NY/Fairport) added eight kills and 17 digs and senior Emma Walsh (Lancaster, NY/Mt. St. Mary) had 31 assists.

AU is in action this Saturday, Oct. 17, for a tri-match with Utica at Hartwick College. AU plays Utica at 1:30 p.m. and Hartwick at 3:30 p.m.
